Wallet Functions
The Wattlet wallet serves as the entry point for users to interact with energy-denominated digital assets. It combines asset custody, transaction management, and market access in one integrated interface. The design focuses on simplicity and transparency while maintaining non-custodial control for users.
Key Features
1. Multi-Asset Management Users can manage multiple token types, including WATT, KWT, and USDT. The wallet automatically identifies supported regional KWT variants (e.g., KWTCN, KWTUK) and updates their values based on oracle data.
2. Non-Custodial Security All private keys are generated and stored locally on the user’s device. Wattlet does not have access to any recovery phrases or assets, ensuring complete ownership and control. Biometric or PIN-based authentication adds an extra layer of protection.
3. Real-Time Balance and Analytics Wallet balances update dynamically with live oracle price feeds. Users can view not only token quantities but also equivalent energy value (kWh) and fiat-converted metrics for better cost transparency.
4. Transaction History and Receipts Every transaction, including swaps, staking operations, and governance interactions, is recorded both on-chain and within the app’s history module. Users can export transaction data for auditing or compliance purposes.
5. In-App Exchange An integrated AMM module enables direct token swaps between USDT and KWT without external exchanges. All rates are determined algorithmically, ensuring fair and transparent pricing.
6. Multi-Region Switching Users can toggle between regional KWT markets through the interface to monitor different electricity price zones or trade across markets.
7. Governance and Staking Access Through the wallet dashboard, users can directly access governance proposals, stake WATT, and claim staking rewards without leaving the application.
The wallet is built as a core user gateway, ensuring that all ecosystem functions — from asset management to governance — are accessible within a single, self-custodied environment.
